    High up in Antigua's volcanic southern regions of Guatemala the aromatic gourmet coffee is shade-grown and the beans ripen slowly. This coffee has a spicy flavor with a fair amount of acidity. Generally, it can be mistaken for its Central American neighbor, Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee.

    Recomended roasting Antigua coffee is generally roasted dark, to bring out its rich chocolate tones. It has good body, aroma, and acidity even some of coffee roasters sell it straight, rather than in a blend.
