It keeps my blood sugar from going up too high after a meal (I am diabetic). Before that my blood sugar would spike up very high after a meal. The free book is about using acupressure points to help with food cravings and emotional eating. Overall I think it is a really good product. I like having the 2 different size doses so that I can control how much I take with each meal. I've been taking this supplement for about three weeks. I am diabetic and my glucose (blood sugar) is not being controlled by prescription drugs. When I started taking this I measured by blood sugar before and after meals. Wow! I was impressed! My after meal readings were only between 30 to 50 points higher than before a meal. That is fantastic compared to the reading when I do not take the green coffee bean extract. As a result I have lost 3 pounds in the last 3 weeks. I know that doesn't sound like much but it is VERY difficult for me to loose weight and I have not done anything else differently (such as exercise). It might work better for weight loss for someone who is not diabetic. But I am perfectly happy with one pound per week weight loss! Not a big problem, I paid less than the fancier ones. The beans roast well, but turn out less attractive than the higher quality beans. If I was stretched for money I would purchase this product again, but I would probably pony up for some higher quality beans next time.
